Teller Early Childhood Council - Woodland Park (Re-2)

Teller Early Childhood Council will be on Friday, December 3, from 1 to 2:30 P.M. at the Woodland Park office of the Resource Exchange (111 C. N. Center St., Woodland Park, CO 80863).
The Teller Early Childhood Council provides guidance to the administration of the Child Find programs and the Colorado Preschool Project funding for the school districts of Teller County.  The Child Find Program consists of the screening and evaluation programs in place to identify children from birth through age 5 who have a disability so that they may receive early intervention.  The Colorado Preschool Project provides funding for the preschool education of three and four year old children who are “at risk” of having delays in their development.  The general public is welcome at the meetings, which occur six times during the school year.  Parents of children and professionals who work with children aged 0 to 5 years old are encouraged to attend, as well as representatives from the business community.
